Music Program
Schaumburg Christian School provides a wide variety of opportunities for students to learn and develop in the area of music. From classroom music to private lessons, to choir and instrumental groups, SCS offers many different avenues for students to participate.
Group Music Program
Group music programs are for our preschool-kindergarten students. Children have an insatiable curiosity at this age and want to learn about their world. Music education at this important stage in their development has been proven to have lifelong benefits. The Musikgarten curriculum used for this program is age-appropriate, highly researched, and sequenced to prepare students for future music education. Every class includes singing, playing rhythm instruments, listening activities and loads of movement. Children learn foundational music concepts in an environment that fosters creativity and engages all of their senses.
These 30-minute lessons are for groups of 3-6 students which meet during regular school hours. Complete the enrollment form below to register your student now.
